More Details & Images
This 1963 Dodge Dart was purchased NEW by my grandmother in 1963. At age 55 yrs at the time, she had never driven a car before and my father taught her how to drive. This car was her pride and joy and the ONLY car she ever owned until she passed away at the age of 95 in 2003.
The car was left to my aunt and she drove it up until May 2017 when she passed away at age 82. My aunt had just spent over $5600. over the last 300 miles (13 months) on the car (repair list available upon request to serious buyers) so car appears to be mechanically sound and runs and drives well. Paint is original.
This car is the Dart 270 series. Also the tires are all new with only a couple of hundred miles on them. There have been a few fender benders & scraps over the years & the trunk lid appears to possibly need resetting, the interior headliner has rotted out and the right rear passenger door does not stay shut and that lock needs to be replaced. The car also does not have seat belts and buyer will need to check on requirements for this year vehicle and add them if desired and/or required.
Over the years my aunt has had numerous people ask her if she wanted to “sell that car”, so NOW’S YOUR CHANCE! Sale is final, so it is potential buyer’s responsibility to have car inspected if so desired.
